Google is dramatically changing its algorithm and no one knows what exactly works in SEO these days. Still some approaches, including classified submission, are valid there which haven’t changed yet. Backlinks are the most important factor in ranking any website in SERPs when they are from relevant and authority sources. As Google is punishing spam approaches too hard, so you need to be careful in building links for your content these days.
If your site or blog’s backlinks count is low and you are confused where to start your SEO campaign, then classified submission may be a point. Classified submission has been a valid practice among SEOs for last couple of years and the submission still works. So to simplify your efforts, I have come up with a massive list of 2000+ free classified sites where you can submit your site for increasing its backlink count.
What to Care About: Though classified submission works, but you must not do it violently. Most of classified sites are open and you don’t need to be registered there for posting your ads with a link back to your site, but don’t overdo it. Google may catch you as a spammer and you may get very bad results instead of boosting your content’s SERP positions.
My recommendation regarding classified submission is, post your links to the sites where moderation is good enough (like ClickIndia.com) as open sources are invaded by spam already and the links from such sources aren’t going to benefit you at all. In addition, try to be relevant and limited. Always remember that in SEO, quality is superior than quantity.
By myself, I haven’t submitted my blog to any classified sites yet. I believe in quality and believe that if your blog or website contains quality content, you will get natural links and that’s what Google looks for and aiming to rank sites on the basis of their usefulness and popularity.
So at the end, I would recommend you NOT to spread spam on the web if you are willing to see Google loving your site. Submit your site or blog to classified sites in below list by ensuring that you aren’t producing spam as Google hates it and is cutting down such approaches hardly.
